Our story - meet our founder Pauline
Our history
The inspiration for Gabrielle BY P came from Pauline's sister, Gabrielle. It sparked a desire to create something that encourages people to express themselves – in their own way, with color, emotion and joy, without it having to cost a fortune. The result was unique bag straps that elevate any bag or outfit – like a piece of jewelry , but in the form of an accessory.
Pauline is a creative at heart, draws much of her inspiration from travel and has always dreamed of living in several places at once. Her concern for animals and the environment is reflected in every choice – from vegan materials to sustainable production. The expression of the design bears traces of her years in Los Angeles, where she studied and worked in fashion design.
The colorfulness is inspired by the travels and people she has been inspired by, and sneaked nuances into Pauline's otherwise (very) black and white, minimalist wardrobe – and later into Gabrielle BY P's collections. The idea was born from a need: to create something that combines elegance, timelessness and personality. A bag strap that could replace jewelry, arouse emotions and make each bag something completely unique.
For us, it's all about the details . Because it's often the little things that make the big difference.
